On September 21 a small group of Time Exchange members were led by William Gil, of the Paskamansett Bird Club, on a fall woods and shore birdwalk. Eider ducks, sanderlings, plovers, and a marsh hawk were spotted on the two hour walk. A reporter for the Dartmouth Chronicle joined us and we are hoping to see an article soon!
SMITH NECK FRIENDS MEETING POTLUCK
At our potluck at the Smith Neck Friends Meeting in Dartmouth, Massachusetts on Oct.16, 2013 went very well, discussing abilities and needs and how the Time Exchange is of value to community is always a great group conversation. A lot of farming, fermenting, and many natural remedy ideas were shared. That is the greatness about Time Exchange meeting like people in places you wouldn’t usually go.
Every month, the Southeastern Massachusetts Time Exchange holds a “Meet, Greet, and Share” potluck style event in Fall River, New Bedford, or the surrounding communities. Time Exchange members and interested individuals get together and share (really great) food, get to know one another, and talk about the Time Exchange.
Here are some pictures from our highly successful events!
